Happy Monday! A few of you are already looking at Debilitate as (likely, your testing can change this!) the next new Transformers TCG card as part of our ongoing Jumpstarter Pack testing event, and the transformerstcg.org team appreciates your investigation and curiosity! I just wanted to give a small look into how feedback for the event has already affected the product.
Some might look at the name of the event and go “wait, wasn’t this the Org Wave 0 test?” and it was! Discussions with testers and players at TFcon Toronto showed some confusion around the Org Wave 0 name. Folks looking to fully update to the current version of the Transformers TCG (with its current allowed / banned lists) were confused about the “0” part of the name, and these sorts of questions led us to clarify what the precise purpose of the release was.
Some people said “I want a kickstart into the current game!”, which led to our Jumpstarter Pack rebrand. With just one Jumpstarter Pack, a player has all the replacement cards they need to play the game, immediately. This seemed like a Top way to Spin it! (groan now)
