Coming from The Ark?
If you played with Ark Wave One, followed “Ark Exodus,” or spent years watching Wreck ‘n Rule, Blues on Attack, or Powered by Primus, welcome. transformerstcg.org is the community home for the continuing Transformers Trading Card Game, and a large part of what you remember is preserved here: the creators’ videos, the rulings, the history, and the cards.
Here is where that material fits now, and how to start playing again.
The Ark and Team Bayformers
The Ark formed in the first months after Wizards of the Coast ended official development in 2020, bringing together Wreck ‘n Rule, Powered by Primus, and Blues on Attack alongside independent contributors. Team Bayformers was developing World|Strike during the same period. After the Eye of the Matrix community vote in November 2020, The Ark offered Team Bayformers membership; Team Bayformers proposed an equal partnership instead, and the two groups announced it on November 28, 2020.
That partnership grew into a shared card pool, coordinated development, and cross-group play, and on June 21, 2021 it took the name Allied Crossplay, later joined by Turbo Revving Old Punks. For three years, players following The Ark and players following Team Bayformers shared the same tables, the same tournaments, and much of the same card pool. The organizations have since gone their separate ways, but the games, videos, rulings, and cards from those years are all still here. The History of the Transformers TCG has the full timeline.
If You Played Ark Cards
You can still play them. Casual Transformers TCG has one rule about card pools: everyone at the table agrees on it beforehand. Ark Wave One and “Ark Exodus” sit outside the current supported card pool, so they belong to casual games rather than organized play, and the transformerstcg.org Tabletop Simulator table keeps Ark Wave One ready in the Black Hole, the archive at the center of the table built for preservation and casual play. Bring it out whenever your opponent is game.
If You Came for the Creators
Most people knew The Ark through the people who kept playing, talking about, and filming the Transformers TCG. Their work is now on transformerstcg.org, one article per video, searchable and in order.
Wreck ‘n Rule
Wreck ‘n Rule covered the game from Wave 1 through the first community releases: 286 videos from August 2018 to February 2021, with gameplay, deck discussion, card reveals, and interviews, including a sit-down with Wizards’ brand manager at PAX Unplugged 2018. Its website kept going after the videos, with a Q&A and four parts of player profiles for the 2022 Omega Invitational. Joe of Wreck ‘n Rule also proposed Aequitas, the community rules committee elected in August 2020; its rulings are preserved in our Rulings archive.
Blues on Attack
Blues on Attack is one of the game’s largest dedicated gameplay archives: 207 videos from August 2019 to May 2021, including Meta Mondays and the Ark Wave One spoiler series, documenting matchups, decks, and players from the official era into the community era.
Powered by Primus
Powered by Primus produced 271 videos from December 2018 to December 2020: gameplay, deck profiles, the Learn to Play series, Cash or Trash, and the Primus Podcast.

Moving Into Current transformerstcg.org Play
If you played Ark-era decks, you already know most of what you need. What changed is the card pool:
- Releases for the current numbered card pool.
- Ban List for what is Allowed, Banned, or Replaced.
- Formats for the ways the current game is played.
- Rules for the current ruleset.
- Returning Players for everything else that changed across the community era.
- Glossary for newer mechanics, formats, and release terms.
The numbered community line today is Wave 6: World|Strike, Org Wave 7: Monster Menagerie, Wave 8: Waste|Lands, and Org Wave 9: War|Void, currently in Public Beta. The Jumpstarter Update Booster collects the community-era replacement cards in one release, so an older collection can be brought up to date in one go.
Get Cards and Find a Game
Professionally printed transformerstcg.org releases are available through the Donation Storefront, and every release also remains free to download and print through Downloads.
The transformerstcg.org Discord is the easiest place to find a game, get help updating an older deck, ask a rules question, or find someone who wants to play Ark Wave One. Weekly Open Play is an easy way back to the table, on the Tabletop Simulator table or over webcam.
Your History Still Counts
If Ark Wave One was your community Wave, if Wreck ‘n Rule taught you the game, if Blues on Attack was where you watched matches, or if Powered by Primus kept you interested after official support ended, that history has a place here. Revisit the creators you remember, play the current card pool, bring the old cards to a casual game, and see what has been built since. Playing here does not require leaving another community or giving up the cards and creators that kept you in the game.
