A number of local players hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area forged a Team identity in the aftermath of the Energon Invitational 2019: Team Bayformers. After the cancellation of the official game, Team Bayformers continued to play and contribute to the game, becoming one of the main pillars of the partnership that eventually became known as Allied Crossplay.
